Since graduating with their physical therapy degrees in the early 90s, Laurie and Lance have seen many changes in the healthcare system.  Some of these changes have been excellent and needed; however, it is well known that the personal aspect has changed.  We have felt the pressure to see multiple people at once, decrease treatment time and the  increased control by insurance companies.  As a result, patients get less and less one on one time with their therapist.  Often being  forced to see multiple therapists during the course of treatment.  This can cause confusion regarding your care and delay in recovery time.

Whorton Therapy was born out of our belief that there is a better option. What if you could receive therapy one on one?  What if you and your therapist decided the best course of treatment, not the insurance company?  Whorton Therapy is an out of network provider for all insurances.  This enables us to be free of micromanagement of your healthcare.
